The England and Wales Cricket board (ECB) has given a green signal to Pakistan’s team for their England tour with one condition that none of the positive player will board the flight to England.
All members of the tour will have been tested prior to travel. Those tested positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to travel with the advance group on Sunday.
Test Reports awaiting
18 players and 11 player support personnel were retested on Thursday while the 10 players and one player support personnel, who had tested positive earlier in the week, were retested on Friday. While five reserve players and a backup player support personnel have undergone Covid-19 tests on Thursday.
The outcomes of all tests will be announced on Saturday that will decide the fate of Pakistan team’s tour to England. However more positive tests can derail the flight to England.
